Joint call within the Tandem Forest Values programme opens soon
The Research Council for Natural Sciences and Engineering participates in the Tandem Forest Values (TFV) call together with the Swedish Kungliga Skogs- och Lantbruksakademien (KSLA), the Swedish Forskningsrådet för hållbar utveckling (FORMAS), Kempestiftelserna, Wallenbergstiftelserna, the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Finnish Ministry of the Environment.
The call will open in June 2019 and close 9 September 2019. The Council will co-fund the call with 1,200,000 euros. The funding is granted for two years. The main themes of the call are biomass production, forest management planning, new methods and technologies, wood construction and new sustainable products and processes.
Funding is available for consortia with consortium partners from Finland and Sweden. The joint application must include at least one and no more than two partners from each country. The consortium is led by an early-career researcher with no more than ten years since their first doctorate.
