ICT 2023
The Academy of Finland and Business Finland jointly implement the research, development and innovation programme ICT 2023. Ten million euros of the Academy of Finland’s budget authority for 2020 will be used to implement the programme.
The aim of the programme, according to the report “21 Paths to a Frictionless Finland” by the ICT 2015 Working Group, is to further improve Finland’s scientific expertise in computer science and to promote the broad-based application of ICT. The programme brings together universities, research institutes, business companies and funding bodies.
International cooperation is very important in ICT research. The ICT 2023 programme aims to advance international cooperation both at EU level and with the United States. Learn more about the Academy’s EU cooperation and the cooperation with the United States.
