Funded profiling areas
Universities have used Profi funding primarily for tenure-track recruitment. In addition to salaries, the funding is used for materials, supplies and goods, instruments, services, travel and other costs. Profi funding is also used to finance research infrastructures not included on Finland’s national roadmap or the ESFRI roadmap, or research infrastructures not funded by the Finnish Research Infrastructure Committee.
