What’s new in the funding terms and conditions 1 June–31 October 2023

The following sections of the document have been updated:

  • ”Academy of Finland” replaced with the new name Research Council of Finland.
  • 1.1 Scope of application of these funding terms and conditions: “These funding terms and conditions apply to the Research Council of Finland’s funding calls opened between 1 June 2023 and 31 October 2023 and to funding decisions made on such calls.”
  • 5.3 Considering sustainability: the years of the Research Council’s commitment to Society’s Commitment to Sustainable Development have been updated (2022–2025).
  • 8.2 Eligible project costs: clarification added as to what the research funding may not be used for. (NEW)
  • 9.1 Funding for research post as Academy Professor: an illustrative reference to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions has been deleted.
  • 18 Provisions applicable to research funding: added: “act to amend the Copyright Act (3 March 2023)” (NEW)
