Decisions on fourth call for Finnish Flagships due 24 October

On Tuesday 24 October, the Research Council of Finland is due to decide on new competence clusters to be added to the Finnish Flagship Programme. The selections will be made earlier than planned. The funding decisions will be made in January 2024 according to the original schedule.
The selections for the Flagship Programme will be announced on 24 October, once the Flagship Programme Subcommittee has made its decisions.
The fourth call for applications under the Flagship Programme was opened in spring 2023. The programme currently includes ten Finnish Flagships selected in the previous calls.
