The Strategic Research Council (SRC) has selected a new part-time director for the SRC programme Keys to Sustainable Growth (GROWTH). Senior Advisor Anne-Christine Ritschkoff (VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd) will take up her duties as programme director on 1 August 2020 and hold the position until the end of the programme on 31 December 2023.

An SRC programme director works in close cooperation with other programme directors and the Division of Strategic Research at the Academy of Finland to carry out a number of tasks: build a programme package in cooperation with the projects of the programme; promote cooperation between SRC programmes; develop and implement, together with other programme directors, joint activities of SRC programmes; and strengthen the societal impact of strategic research.
