Academy of Finland’s inquiry into reform of funding of early-career researchers, discussion forum for researchers
Discussion forum for researchers
The Academy of Finland has launched a project to investigate a possible reform of the funding opportunities available to early-career researchers. The aim is to find out what kind of funding scheme would best serve the research and careers of early-career researchers. Another aim is to assess how this type of reform could streamline the application process and the use of funding and also ease the administrative work of research organisations.
We have gathered views from researchers on the funding of early-career researchers, and we will now engage in discussions based on the views.
We will organise a discussion forum for researchers on Wednesday 3 November 2021 at 12.30–14.00.
In particular, we warmly welcome early-career researchers to the discussion.
