Survey on strategic research themes has closed – thank you for your suggestions and comments!

13 Nov 2020

Our survey on strategic research themes for 2022 has now closed. By the deadline, we received a total of 151 proposals to support the theme preparation of the Strategic Research Council (SRC). A total of 537 users logged in to complete the survey, resulting in a very active and useful discussion. The proposals were weighed and further developed with 474 comments. The proposals and comments received 984 likes in total.

All proposals and comments will be examined as part of the theme preparation process. The preparation will continue next at the SRC and in early 2021 with stakeholder workshops. The SRC will again organise an open consultation in May 2021, where interested parties will have the opportunity to comment on the draft theme proposals. After the event, the SRC will finalise the draft proposals and take a decision on the proposals to be submitted to the Government. Based on the Government’s decision, the SRC will, in autumn 2021, prepare the SRC programmes and calls that will be launched in 2022.

We would like to warmly thank all who participated in the survey for their valuable suggestions and comments. Active participation in the process supports the preparation of high-quality proposals.
