International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA): Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) 2027
The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is an international, interdisciplinary research institute located in Laxenburg, Austria. The institute studies global problems that are either too widespread or too complex for a single country or scientific discipline to solve.
IIASA offers a summer programme for PhD students to undertake a scientific project on a topic related to the IIASA research agenda.
IIASA hosts up to 50 doctoral students from around the world in its annual Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) from 1 June to 27 August 2027.
The RCF can support up to three doctoral students working at a Finnish site of research who have been selected to the YSSP, covering their travel and accommodation expenses in Austria.
