The Academy Programme C1 Value aims to create new solutions for the conversion of C1 compounds into raw material and for the capture of carbon dioxide. Carbon neutrality can be achieved not just by cutting carbon emissions but also by promoting solutions that reduce the volume of carbon compounds in the atmosphere. Atmospheric carbon compounds can be captured, stored and utilised, for instance, in the production of various chemical products and materials. C1 compounds are potential raw material sources for the production of fuels, materials and chemicals. The programme memorandum contains more details on the programme’s background, aims, thematic areas and review criteria. The full call text and the review criteria are available below.

Applicant is an individual research team or a consortium selected in the call for letters of intent.

PI of the project must be a researcher with a doctoral degree or at the professor or docent level.

The call’s funding budget has been set at a maximum of 6 million euros.
