Research Infrastructure for Future Wireless Communication Networks (FUWIRI)
The Research Infrastructure for Future Wireless Communication Networks (FUWIRI) is a national high-impact research, innovation and collaboration platform in the field of wireless technologies.
FUWIRI is closely linked to the RCF-funded 6G Finnish Flagship, serving as its experimental research infrastructure. In this environment, the jointly orchestrated 5G/6G test network supports the development and testing of new research-based technology components. It enables the research, development and testing of new device solutions, algorithms, software and applications.
The FUWIRI service is jointly offered by: University of Oulu, Tampere University, Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd.
