Scientific Advisory Board (SAB)

The purpose of a CoE's Scientific Advisory Board is to support, promote and follow the CoE’s scientific activity and research plan implementation. The SAB meets four times during the eight-year funding period of the CoE. If necessary, the SAB shall take initiatives to strengthen the scientific activities and performance of the CoE and encourage the application of new questions and methods that it considers useful in the implementation and planning of research. The SAB is not expected to conduct a conventional evaluation of the CoE, but rather to give constructive, and if needed, critical feedback on the CoE’s progress.
