Centres of Excellence in Research in 2000-2005

Within the first programme for CoEs (2000–2005), the Academy funded 26 CoEs and seven core facility organisations. Academy funding was 54.8 million euros and Tekes funding 10.8 million euros.

An impact evaluation has been conducted of the Finnish programmes for Centres of Excellence 2000–2005 and 2002–2007. The evaluation report is available in the Academy of Finland publication series (Publications of the Academy of Finland 2/09).
