JOURNAL GRANTS

The NOP-HS Scientific Journal Grant aims to promote the dissemination of qualified research results within the fields of humanities and social sciences. NOP-HS supports Nordic journals of the highest quality that promote renewal in the research field. NOP-HS funded journals have a humanities or social sciences orientation. The journals must have a Nordic foundation, have an external peer review system, and be regularly indexed by international databases. The supported journal must be open access.

The NOP-HS Journal grant call for 2021 will be the last call in this form. In this last call, NOP-HS will only fund journals currently funded by NOP-HS to secure them a transfer to activities without NOP-HS funding. The call is thus targeted to journals with NOP-HS funding for the year 2021. They have received a positive NOP-HS funding decision (for one or two years) with an annual instalment for the year 2021. For details, see NOP-HS Journal Grant call for applications, Appendix 7.

The current terms and conditions for the grant are described in the NOP-HS Journal grant 2021 call text.
