ERA PerMed

In personalised medicine, genetic and other data collected from individuals are used in the prevention and treatment of diseases.

ERA PerMed is an ERA-NET Cofund between national research funders in the field of personalised medicine. It is supported by 32 partners from 23 EU members states and partner countries. The aim of ERA PerMed is to align national research strategies, promote excellent research, reinforce the competitiveness of European players in personalised medicine and enhance European research collaboration with non-EU countries.

ERA PerMed is coordinated by the Spanish National Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII). The Research Council of Finland is a partner of ERA PerMed.

In the first two ERA PerMed calls in 2018 and 2019, the Research Council of Finland funded a total of twelve Finnish parties in eight different research projects.
