Academy’s calls for research funding presented at all Finnish universities

The Academy of Finland’s Ask & Apply roadshow will visit all Finnish universities in August-September to present the Academy’s calls for research funding. Presentations will be given by the Academy’s science advisers and Research Council members. The Research Councils make the funding decisions. Time is also reserved for questions and guidance in small groups. Registration on the universities’ websites.

Before the roadshow, a kick-off seminar “A Successful Application” will be arranged at the Academy of Finland on 22 August. Registration at, keycode “Application”. The seminar is fully booked but the seminar material is available on our website at

A discussion forum will also be opened at the Academy’s website dealing with the themes of the roadshow. A tentative list of venues is available here.
