Data dashboards
The RCF's dashboards provide key data on research funding granted by the RCF and the Strategic Research Council (SRC). The first published dashboard presents data on the impact of RCF-funded research.
The work to further develop the dashboards continues in 2025. We will expand on existing data and also produce new dashboards that will present data on research themes, application and decision statistics, and SRC funding.
Dashboard on impact of RCF-funded research
The first RCF dashboard presents data on the key contents of R&D policy from the perspective of RCF funding. The data content of the dashboard is based on the RCF’s strategy.
The dashboard contains the following tabs: Key figures; Research funding; Research excellence; Spearhead themes; Clusters of research competence; Skills and competence; International cooperation; and Responsible science.
The dashboard examines RCF funding based on three categories (PDF), each with specific impact objectives. The categories are:
- long-term and innovative research
- competence clusters and research environments
- themes and impact of research knowledge.
The impact of RCF-funded research is compared with corresponding data from Finland and international benchmarks.
The data presented in the dashboard are updated twice a year.
