Research Programme for Ecological Construction

Evaluation Report

The Academy of Finland's rsearch programme for Ecological Construction has been evaluated. The programme comprised 11 research projects during 1995-1998 and 10 projects during 1996-1999. The Construction sector is tied to all sectors of sustainable development in society: human and social needs, the economy, culture, and ecology. The evaluation showed that novel interdisciplinary methodologies and crossing of theoretical borders should be further developed.
