Abstract
The aim of the project is to study wireless sensor technology that can be used for monitoring of behaviours that are related to human physiological and psychophysiological responses. The ultimate goal is to demonstrate the use of lightweight wireless monitoring systems for monitoring the functioning of the human heart, brain activity, eye movements (i.e. gaze direction), and facial muscle activity. Wireless technology could be utilized widely, for example, in developing hands free user interfaces for functionally challenged persons, in health care monitoring, and it would also significantly facilitate in doing basic research.
