Abstract
The project analyzes the conceptual framework offered by the theoretical bases of the research on clothing and dress for the study of ubiquitous computing and the services, activities and social situations to be found in intelligent environments. The research concentrates on products yet to be designed, simulations and product designs. The project sets out to investigate the emergent nature of the services and activities associated with wearable intelligence and to ascertain the social and emotional responses that intelligent garments and interactive materials give rise to in their users in different situations and contexts.
