Instructions for writing the final report
PROACT Programme Evaluation 2006
Final report
General
The final report will present the scientific results of the PROACT projects. It will also contain some summary of the activities of the programme. The main audience is other researchers and persons interested in proactive computing and related areas without having a deep knowledge of the topics.
Each project should return one description. Partners in a consortia may (and should) cooperate to produce this description.
The structure is planned to be
- Introduction
- Programme objectives
- Programme structure and funding
- Programme events and activities
- Programme coordination
- Project A
- Project B
- ...
- Project N
- Conclusion and future prospects
Project specific
Each project is described in about 10 pages with the following structure
- Introduction - a general introduction to the subarea of the project
- Objectives - what were/are the objectives of the project
- Methods - what methods where used, did you develop your own
- Results - what results were achieved, did you reach your objectives
- Evaluation - how good are the results
- Conclusion and open questions
- References
The structure is given for guidance and may be changed if it suits the project description better. It may e.g. include sections on design, implementation and testing.
Format
About 10 pages in English.
Please use Word or LaTeX for writing you description. Please make sure that possible pictures are of high quality (PDF, PS). The final text will be edited and language-checked. Before publication, all projects will be asked to approve or reject any editing changes that have been made.
Please return a PDF version as well as Word/LaTeX and pictures in separate files (PS/PDF).
