All the researchers of the MICMAN projects and all other interested in the topic are kindly welcome to this symposium. The symposium is an annual event of the MICMAN research programme funded by the Academy of Finland and The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research.

The program of the symposium consists of plenary presentations and oral presentations of each MICMAN-funded project.

REGISTRATION FEE
There is no registration fee. MICMAN will offer coffee, the evening sauna, the symposium dinner and the lunch to all registered participants. The participants are requested to pay for their accommodation by themselves.
Registrations of all participants are necessary for practical arrangements.

SYMPOSIUM VENUE
The Gustavelund conference hotel is situated at Tuusula, an area rich in Finnish history, culture and natural beauty. Helsinki is a half hour's (30 km) drive away and the Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport is even closer (15 km).

There are hotel rooms available at the conference hotel. Please make your hotel reservations directly to Gustavelund by e-mail: myyntipalvelu@gustavelund.fi.
- Single room 80 €, double room 48 € (per night per person, incl. breakfast, morning sauna & swimming).


Travelling:
 By train
The nearest railway station is Kerava, located 4 kilometres from Gustavelund.
- Trains from Helsinki railway station: ab. four trains every hour, takes 20 min.
- Fast trains from the north: change trains at Riihimäki station. Trains from Riihimäki to Kerava: approximately two trains every hour, the train ride takes 40 min. The fastest way to get from Kerava train station to Gustavelund is by taxi. There is a taxi stand at the train station. The taxi ride takes 10 min. and costs approx. 11 €.
 By bus
Buses leave from Helsinki bus station twice an hour, takes 40 min (approx. 5 €).
 Connections from Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport 
The fastest way to get to Gustavelund from the airport is by taxi (15 min). The ride costs approx. 24 €.
