The 4th Finnish Microbial Pathogenesis Day
September 20, 2006
Congress Center of the Allergy House (Paciuksenkatu 19), Helsinki
The aim of the 4th Finnish Microbial Pathogeneses Day seminar is to invite researchers
on microbial pathogenesis together and advance scientific discussion between
the research groups. According to our definition, research on microbial pathogenesis covers studies that aim at understanding how microbes (viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites) cause diseases.
This year the programme is already traditional. Our keynote speaker is professor Thomas F. Meyer, director, Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology, Berlin, Germany (see http://www.mpiib-berlin.mpg.de/research/molecular.htm for further information). The remaining programme consists of scientific presentations by participants.
All interested in the topic are welcome to participate. The event is free of charge. Registrations by September 11, 2006 to soile.juuti@ktl.fi
Registration of all participants is necessary for practical arrangements!
