Purchasing and Supply Management as an Interdisciplinary Research Field on Thursday 1.3.2007

The Research Program on Business Know-how (Liike2), Academy of Finland,
the Business Networks Research Program (VELI), HSE
and the Department of Business Technology (Logistics), HSE
are arranging a guest lecture by a leading scholar in the area of supply:

Professor Finn Wynstra (RSM Erasmus University, Rotterdam Netherlands):
"Purchasing and Supply Management as an Interdisciplinary Research Field"
Thursday 1.3.2007, at 16.15-17.45, in Room C-350, Main building, HSE

Prof. Wynstra is an expert in the area of purchasing and supply management, and an active contributor to the IMP (Industrial Marketing and Purchasing) research group. He is also the editor of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management. In addition to presenting his views on the contemporary research in the field, he will discuss the editorial policies of this key journal.
 
This event is directed to researchers working in the fields of purchasing and supply (representing various disciplines, such as, logistics, SCM, and supplier networks). After the lecture, the discussions will continue over a light snack at Proffa.
