The FinCEAL Infobank is a multidisciplinary database on research related to Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) carried out by the Finnish science community. The Infobank contains Finnish research institutions’ international cooperation in a nutshell – it already has more than 100 registered projects on a wide range of topics.
The Infobank is maintained by the FinCEAL Plus (Developing Finnish Science, Technology and Innovation between Europe, Africa, Asia and the LAC Region) project, which is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture coordinated by the UniPID network.
FinCEAL Plus promotes the Infobank both nationally and internationally to highlight Finnish expertise related to the target regions and to make it more accessible to Finnish authorities and international networks.
- facilitate knowledge exchange, communication and cooperation opportunities between researchers focusing on Africa, Asia and the LAC region in Finland

- enhance transparency and increases the visibility of research and capacity-building projects of Finnish research institutions
- act as a contact point for information dissemination on funding opportunities, collaboration possibilities and relevant events.
