Social media has become an essential science communication tool across the disciplines. Academy of Finland offers a one day training for scientists showing how to use social media to communicate more professionally and deepen the societal impact of your scientific work. We will go through tactics how to find time in a busy schedule for effective social media use and how to make most out of its opportunities.
Who can participate? Anyone from New Energy, Biofuture2025 or MISU Academy Programmes interested in learning more about social media use as a scientist. Extensive experience from Twitter and LinkedIn not needed but preliminary knowledge (existing account on both) of the services helps to follow the training.
