Kari Palonen

Kari Palonen works within political science at the University of Jyväskylä. An internationally recognised scientist in political thought and conceptual history, Palonen heads the Centre of Excellence in Political Thought and Conceptual Change, one of the Academy of Finland's Centres of Excellence for 2006–2011. During his Academy Professorship Palonen will examine the conceptual and historical ties between parliamentarianism, rhetoric and conceptual history.
