Who we are

The management of the Academy of Finland includes the President and two Vice Presidents, one responsible for research and the other for administration. The Academy has four Research Councils. Each Research Council Chair is a member of the Academy Board. The Research Council members as well as the holders of Academy research posts (Academy Professors and Academy Research Fellows) work at their own university or research institute. The number of staff working at the research and administration units of the Academy (Administration Office) is 160.
