Public transport
Finland has a comprehensive public transport network. Rail transport is operated by VR, Finland’s state-owned railway company. Bus and coach transport is handled by several private companies. Furthermore, most towns and cities have their own internal public transport networks.

Driving
A current driving licence issued in an EU/EEA country is valid in Finland for the same type of vehicle. If you have a driving licence issued in a country that has signed the Geneva or Vienna Road Traffic Convention, that licence allows you to drive in Finland for twelve months. You then have six months to apply for a Finnish driving licence.
