International Staff Services of the University of Helsinki has a useful portal for their incoming international researchers, teachers and other staff.

The European Comission has adopted a European Charter for Researchers and a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The ‘Charter and Code’ address researchers as well as employers and funders in both the public and private sectors. The Charter provides a framework for the career managenet of researches, while the Code promotes open and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures.
