We make every effort to ensure that the content of our website is correct and up-to-date. However, the Academy of Finland cannot be held responsible for costs or damage incurred by users of the website due to possible errors on the website. The Academy of Finland is, furthermore, not responsible for damage or inconvenience arising from technical problems, or material produced by outsiders that is linked to this website.

Personal data

The Academy of Finland is required to protect the personal integrity and personal data of website users under the provisions of the Personal Data Act. No information is collected that could be used to identify individual website users. We only request e-mail addresses or other contact information in order to answer questions or feedback. 
No personal data is collected on those who use the website. Only general statistical data is collected in the interests of developing our Internet service. The statistical data in question are:

Technical data

Use of the website requires a web browser. The latest browser versions will give the best results. The website can also be accessed with older browser versions and text browsers, but the website may look different and it may not be possible to access all features of our online services.
The Academy website features pdf documents and sound files. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required in order to display the pdf documents and it is downloadable free of charge from the Adobe website: www.adobe.com.
