Science indicators

Indicators are measures that describe the state and development of things. One of the key aspects of the Academy’s evaluations and science policy is the development and application of science indicators. In this the Academy works closely with other partners in the research and innovation system. The Academy has developed and used bibliometric indicators to support its evaluations and science policy-making since the late 1990s.
