The Exploratory Workshop of the Programmable Materials Research Programme was held on Tuesday 23 November 2010 at 9.30 at Scandic Marina Congress Center (Katajanokanlaituri 6, 00160 Helsinki).

The goal in the research programme is to develop novel materials in challenging environments. Programmable materials react to their surroundings in a complicated matter. Programmability can be present in molecular level or macroscopically.
