Annual seminar 2012
The 2012 annual seminar of the research programme was held with 55 participants at the Academy of Finland on 18 September 2012. Our invited speaker, Prof. Eric Larkins from the University of Nottingham gave an interesting review on the state-of-the-art optoelectronic modeling tools. Within the “Look beyond the programme” theme we heard two talks, discussing both Finnish and Europe-wide (Photonics21 technology platform) activities and plans towards the European Horizon 2020 programme. The day was complemented with three project presentations and an active poster session with 25 posters.
