The Future and Environments of Housing and Living Seminar on 17–18 September 2012
Academy of Finland’s research programme The Future of Living and Housing (ASU-LIVE) and the Museum of Finnish Architecture will arrange an international seminar with a title The Future and Environments of Housing and Living in Helsinki on 17-18 September 2012. Venues of the seminar are Museum of Finnish Architecture (17 Sept., Kasarmikatu 24) and Huutokonttori (18 Sept., Tyynenmerenkatu 1).
The seminar discusses national and international cases related to sustainable development, participatory town planning, and waterfront development. The seminar closes on 18 September with a public discussion event on alternative ways of building and living. This discussion will be conducted in Finnish and it will be open to the public.
Registration to the seminar is open at www.academyevents.fi until Thursday 6 September.
