Steering committee

The Programme Steering Committee is comprised of representatives from each of the responsible funding bodies and external experts.

The composition of the committee is as follows:

1st Vice-Chairman:
Prof. Han Jianguo, Director General, Bureau of International Cooperation, NSFC
2nd Vice-Chairman:
Ms. Astrid Eberhart, Assistant Director, International Relations, INMHA

The tasks of the Steering Committee are to:

  • submit to the responsible funding bodies its proposal for the projects to be funded in the Programme,
  • steer and monitor the function of the Programme,
  • plan and organise the final evaluation of the Programme, and
  • promote the utilisation of research results.
