Ecological Construction, EKORA (1995-1999)

The Research Programme for Ecological Construction aimed at discovering the theoretical basis and concrete solution models for the concepts of ecology and sustainable development in construction and the use of constructed areas. It furthered research supporting ecological construction, advances Finnish research in ecological construction also internationally as well as tried to give more emphasis on ecological construction and distributed information on the significance of research in this field both to experts and to the public. This way the Programme wanted to deliver the research results to a wide audience.
