NOP-HS, Nordic Publishing Committee for Journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences

The Nordic Publishing Committee for Journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences (NOP-HS) operates under NOS-HS. NOP-HS works to promote Nordic publishing activities within the humanities and social sciences by funding annually the publishing of some 40 scientific journals. The NOP-HS Publishing Committee is composed of two representatives from each Nordic country, excluding Iceland. In 2011, NOP-HS is chaired by Professor Jan-Ola Östman, with Erkki K. Laitinen as member and Science Adviser Päivi Messo-Lindén as administrative contact.
