International activities of Research Councils

The internationalisation of Finnish research also sets challenges to the Academy’s four Research Councils. The Research Councils allocate funding to internationalisation with a view to further increase the international competitiveness and visibility of Finnish research. The Research Councils value international research cooperation as an integral and natural part of all scientific activity.
