  • The programme group consists of representatives of the Academy’s Research Councils. It is chaired by Vice President for Research Marja Makarow, with Science Adviser Maija Gyran as secretary, who is also responsible for CoE programme coordination.
  • The representatives of the programme group discuss the applications with the Research Councils with a view to receiving broad support for the international peer review of applications.
  • The programme group meeting has been scheduled for October 2012.

  • The Academy Board had a meeting on 6 November 2012 to make the decision on which applications will proceed to the second stage.

  • The applications will be reviewed by international expert panels.
  • The panels will interview the applicants at the Academy in March-April 2013.
  • Evaluation form for research and action plan

  • A new programme group will be appointed as the new Research Councils start their work in early 2013.
  • The programme group will discuss the applications and the review results with the Research Councils.

  • The Academy Board meeting has been scheduled for June 2013.

  • The contract negotiations will be held at the Academy in September-October 2013.
