The Board of the Academy of Finland has selected the research teams that will proceed to the second stage of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) call. In all 34 research teams are asked to submit their full applications. These detailed applications shall be submitted to the Academy by 21 January 2013. Lots of letters of intent from CoE hopefuls   (11.5.12 15:36)
The Academy of Finland’s call for the new Centre of Excellence Programme (2014–2019), which closed on 25 April 2012, attracted a great number of letters of intent, 128 in total. The letters of intent covered a wide variety of research fields and were submitted by both universities and research institutes from across Finland. The total funding applied for amounts to some 409 million euros.
