Finnish CoE in Nuclear and Accelerator Based Physics

The Finnish Centre of Excellence in Nuclear and Accelerator Based Physics consists of eight research groups. Its main focus is on studies of new phenomena in nuclei under extreme conditions. The CoE involves both experimental and theoretical research in nuclear and accelerator based physics and related applications at the University of Jyväskylä Department of Physics. Applications and instrumentation are developed at the CoE for use in both research and industry. The CoE works under the Centre of Excellence in Research nominated by the Academy of Finland for the 2006-2011 period.
