Project plan: Targeted funding for strengthening a new application to the ERC
Appendix to the call for applications “Targeted funding for strengthening the competitiveness of new ERC applications”, 19 Nov 2010
The aim of this funding is to strengthen the international competitiveness of the applicant and his or her project and to help the applicant prepare a high-quality application for the European Research Council’s (ERC) upcoming call. In a project plan of no more than five pages, the applicant shall describe how he or she will implement the aims set for the call and other aspects indicated below. The project plan shall be appended to the application to the Academy.
- Name of principal investigator, name of project, site of research
- ERC call for which the application is being prepared
- The applicant’s role in the application to be submitted to the ERC, other researchers participating in the same ERC project (e.g. if the project is a Co-Investigator project for an ERC Advanced Investigators Grant).
- Description of project (of no more than twelve months), addressed to the Academy, including a short project plan and the goals for strengthening the international competitiveness and promoting the international engagement of the applicant and his or her project
- Justification for the overall cost estimate of the one-year project indicated on the online application form, specified by type of expenditure, including the names of the staff to be hired for the project, the months of work within the project and the gross monthly salary with justifications. If the names are not yet known, enter N.N.
The project plan is appended to the application in the online services. Name the attachment file as follows: your surname_ERC_project plan.
