ERC Starting Independent Researcher Grants and Advanced Investigators Grants

The European Research Council (ERC) will open a call for Starting Independent Researcher Grants in summer 2011. The call for Advanced Investigator Grants will open in autumn 2011. Applications are invited from all research fields.

The deadlines differ between various research fields. Further information and detailed application guidelines are available on the ERC website.

Academy of Finland support to researchers successful in ERC calls

The Academy may target funding to researchers who have done well in ERC calls but have not been granted funding. This Academy funding is intended to reinforce the international competitiveness of the researchers and the projects they are heading. Eligibility to receive this type of funding requires participation in the next possible ERC call.
