Postdoctoral Researcher funding at EUI

The Academy of Finland and the European University Institute (EUI) have agreed that the Academy can fund two 1–2-year postdoctoral research periods at the EUI in Florence. Applications for this funding are made as part of the three-year Postdoctoral Researcher’s project. The grant required and any other expenses arising from the stay at the EUI shall be included in the cost estimate for the Postdoctoral Researcher’s project and justification for the stay shall be made under section 6 of the research plan, “Researchers and research environment”. The approximate amount of the grant awarded in addition to salary is shown in Table 1. Travel costs of accompanying family members may be included in the cost estimate if the researcher and his or her family stay abroad longer than six months.

The European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy, is run jointly by the EU Member States.
