The state of scientific research in Finland

Since 1997, the Academy of Finland has reviewed the state and quality of scientific research in Finland at three-year intervals. The review process enables the long-term monitoring of different scientific disciplines and provides a basis for science policy. The newest review, the report The State of Scientific Research in Finland 2012 was published by the Academy of Finland on 8 October 2012, and the English translation of the report was published on 12th December 2012.
