International evaluation of water research 2002–2006
The Academy of Finland carried out an international evaluation of water research in 2007. The evaluation covered the whole discipline in Finland with particular attention given to the scientific quality of research in surface water, the quality of researcher training and research environments as well as the impact of research.
The evaluation was commissioned by the Academy’s Research Council for Biosciences and Environment. The Evaluation Steering Group was chaired by Professor Liselotte Sundström. Professor Brian Moss from Liverpool University served as chair of the Evaluation Panel.
