EUREKA cooperation

EUREKA cooperation is targeted at developing and commercialising products and production processes to end-products, arising from the participants needs and based on their conditions. Participants may be European business companies, research institutes and universities.

EUREKA projects can serve as a continuation to EU research programmes by complementing them and making use of their research findings.

The EUREKA Secretariat, based in Brussels, maintains a project database, which is an important source of information for project participants and other parties interested in taking part. The Secretariat is also responsible for producing information material. Tekes serves as the Finnish responsible organ for EUREKA cooperation.
