The Research Council for Biosciences and Environment stresses the importance of international cooperation as an integral part of all scientific activity. In its work on international bodies, the Research Council seeks to influence the decision-making of the EU, the European Science Foundation (ESF) and other international research organisations so that it coincides with Finnish research policy and the Academy’s international strategy.
