Have your say about the Academy’s international activities

Researchers now have an opportunity to contribute to the Academy’s international cooperation by answering a survey of interest. The aim is to chart the extent and the kind of international cooperation researchers have. Another aim is to survey needs for further strengthening or expanding cooperation among funding agencies or for new initiatives. Further, the information collected will help to foresee emerging fields and cooperation countries. The survey of interest will be carried out once a year.

The Academy of Finland works actively to create new opportunities for internationally high-standard research, researcher training and attractive research environments. The Academy has strong international research funding cooperation with leading scientific powers both within and outside Europe. The Academy’s cooperation with emerging scientific powers is mutually beneficial.

In line with its international strategy, the Academy works to develop its international activities in cooperation with its national and international partners.  In its international activities, the Academy is target-oriented, consistent and selective. To this end, the Academy works to actively follow the international research collaboration within the research community and the international activities of its cooperation partners.
